Welcome Anu - Programme Manager

Ally Jones

For the first (almost) 3 years of Coachable, the day-to-day running and operational management has been led by our founders, Ally Jones and Liz Whitney.

Whilst it’s been fun for them to wear 865 hats a day, our growth has meant it was time for us to do things a little differently. So, in September, we took a big leap. We hired our first Programme Manager to the team, to work alongside the team of 8 coaches and facilitators that make up Team Coachable.

Having previously supported the team at YSC/Accenture with coaching project and programme management, at Executive and C-Suite level, we’re excited for Anu to support in ensuring our clients have an exceptional and transformative experience partnering with us.

When we interviewed Anu, we loved how her creativity, values and desire to create exceptional, high-touch learning experiences shone through. In a market that’s flooded with digital, AI generated and off-the-shelf leadership experiences, we’re proudly human, and so Anu is the perfect addition to our growing (and pretty damn mighty) team.

Meet Anu.

What drew you to work at Coachable?

Honestly, the name caught my attention first, I was instantly curious. Then I was drawn in by Coachable’s playful, modern design and vibrant brand. After meeting Ally and Liz, it became clear that behind the great design is a people-first company with a genuinely exciting vision.

What do you see the biggest challenges for those leading the People Development function when it comes to leadership development?

One of the biggest challenges in People Development is designing leadership programmes that drive sustained behaviour change. Striking the right balance between delivering personalised learning experiences and managing time constraints and competing priorities can be difficult in today’s busy environment. Another key challenge is fostering a culture where leaders feel safe to be vulnerable and stay open to growth.

What role do you play in ensuring clients get an exceptional, and transformational, experience partnering with Coachable?

I see my role as the link between clients and Coachable - listening to their needs, ensuring a seamless experience through user friendly platforms, clear communication and building trust through genuine relationships.

Having worked at places like YSC and Accenture, what do you feel makes Coachable special?

Coachable is a ‘Small but mighty team’. I think the size of the company lends itself to a really human and personalised experience. It feels intimate, purpose driven but also fun!

Tell us something not many people know about you…

When I have time to visit Ireland, I really enjoy sea swimming (even in the Winter). There’s a lovely community of all year round sea swimmers in my home town and there’s nothing as invigorating as a January morning swim.

Looking back on your first 12 months at Coachable, what do you hope to be most proud of?

I hope to be most proud of the relationships I’ve built and the people I’ve met along the way. I also aim to have made a meaningful impact on both our clients’ and internal team’s experience by streamlining processes and introducing thoughtful automation that adds a personal, high touch feel.
